How to recover a missing transaction

Sometimes a customer makes a payment and it does not reflect on their account, or generally on the system: To recover this,

Obtain the Mpesa transaction from either the customer or Mpesa paybill

  • Go to transactions, on the menu
  • Select C2B in the drop-down
  • Click on the Actions button which is at the top of the screen
  • Click recover

Once you click on the recover transaction button, a pop will appear on the screen requiring you to : 

  • Select the transaction type (This could be investment, savings, payment by another customer e.t.c)
  • Put the Mpesa transaction code
  • Click on the Search transaction button and recover
